The Freak Collection
Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion
1997/98 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems Red /100
This is the card that drive me back to the hobby. Love this card when it first came out but did not have the means to acquire it till early 2000s. It continued to gain popularity but to me it never changed, it is a cornerstone of my collection. The red metal background matched the Bulls jersey and the metal feel. Thanks @arenadesign for such design that is ahead of its time.
1996 and 1997 Skybox E-X2000 and E-X2001 Credentials
Another iconic 90s cards from @arenadesign which stands the test of time. The 1996 set is /499 and 1997 Future is /72. The 1996 window and silver finished is way head of its time. The 1997 set has Now and Future parallel which are number to /9 and /72 for Jordan respectively. The 1997 set was one of the earliest non paper sets and the design and numbering is so unique it set a standard for any future EX sets.
1997/98 and 1998/99 Skybox Rubies /50
Rubies are one of the most chased 90s parallels with very unique design that has not been seen even in modern cards. The 1997 has this "Amoeba" design which reflects under light that have never seen before. The 1998 rubies is usually refer to as "the Jordan Gold" as it has gold reflection which is not common back in late 90s.
1997/98 Fleer Ultra Platinum Medallion 001/100
2nd Year of Platinum Medallion used a full Platinum background instead of just the words for 1st year. The black and white made Jordan dunk stands out and also like how the Fonts are blend together with the overall picture of the card. Numbering of 001 makes it even more special for my collection.
