1996/97 Topps Chrome Refractor RC
1st Year of Topps Chrome design did not disappoint and also helped by one of the best rookie classes in the history of the game. Kobe is the cream of the crop for the set and who would have thought the 13th pick will become one of the best to play the game. Only defect is some of these refractors are subject to "Greening" through the years. Mine has some but fortunately not too serious.
1997/98 Skybox Star Rubies /50
Other than the Precious Metal Gems, another iconic parallel insert which display an amazing reflection background which is one of the most innovative in my opinion. I still have not seen any current day Prizm product which duplicate such background.

These 3 represents one of the best numbered inserts from the 90s. My original goal is to acquire both the Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant set. However due to the timing and prices now, it will be very hard for me to complete my dream. However I am already very fortunate to have the Kobe Trios in my Collection.
1998/99 Skybox Molten Metal Fusion Supernatural Titanium /40
One of the most rare 90s inserts which has an very unique design and way ahead of its time. No.33 is also Kobe Bryant's high school Jersey number which made this card even more special.
1997/98 Finest Embossed Die Cut Atomic Refractors /74 BGS 9.5
Only limited to 74 copies and the Atomic design made it one of the most sorted after cards in the 90s. The set actually started the whole 90s craziness as the Michael Jordan version is highly chased after. I wished I can have both MJ and Kobe but now the MJ is out of my price range. Glad to own the Kobe in my colection.

2008/09 Upper Deck Exquisite "The Closer" Inscription Auto (48 sec in the video)
Kobe had signed quite a number of Inscriptions like "The Black Mamba", "MVP, "Vino", etc. throughout the years. However this is the only "The Closer" he signed as far as I know. He might not make every shot to close out the game but he always have the confidence that he will make the shot and won't shy from it that made him one of the best.
2010-11 National Treasures Logoman 1/1
My initial goal is to collect 1 logoman and logoman auto for MJ, Kobe and Lebron. However, at this time, it will be impossible to do so due to the price increase. There is another auto version which is owned by another prominent collector. Logoman is the "pinnacle" of Jersey collecting and this 1/1 version is very special.
2007/08 Exquisite Player Signed Box 18/24
This is a very special piece of Memorabilia from 2007/08 Exquisite. Kobe signed 24 of these boxes and within the box are all Kobe Bryant cards (except for the RC RPA I believe). There are also boxes signed by MJ, Lebron and Durant from that year. I think this is a great idea but don't think Panini or other companies ever replicate it again.
